Cadian Shock Trooper of the 39th Cadian Regiment in standard uniform
The 39th Cadian is a regiment of the Imperial Guard's Cadian Shock Troopers. They are also informally know as the "Xenobane." Their Flak Armour is coloured blood red while their uniforms maintain a tan camouflage pattern.
They participated in the Imperial campaign to eliminate the Hrud infestation on Chinchare alongside the 1st Company of the Dark Hands Space Marine Chapter and also took part in the Veldt Campaign in the 41st Millennium. During the Third Aurelian Crusade in the late 41st Millennium, elements of the 39th Cadian Regiment turned Renegade and began to worship Ulkair, a Greater Daemon of Nurgle.
