The Angels of Redemption is a Second Founding chapter, created from the gene-seed of the Dark Angels.[1]
Even though the chapter has proven itself in battle, their help is sometimes refused due to their reputation for acting against orders.

[edit] Defence of Gatlinghive
The Angels of Redemption abandoned their post just before the Ork's final assault to capture the Fallen Baalakai, a former Captain. This resulted in the fall of Gatlinghive and the massacre of all the remaining humans.[2]
[edit] Third War for Armageddon
The Angels of Redemption participated in the Third War for Armageddon.[3] When the Ork Warboss Ghazkull Mag Uruk Thraka led a second unsuccessful Waaagh against the planet.
They committed 4 companies for the Third War for Armageddon. During which they were redirected to the homeworld of the Monglor Ogryn Auxilia in order to put down an insurrection by the indigenous Ogryn population.

The Chapter's power armor is dominoed bone-white and dark green, and the Chapter's symbol is a winged skull.
