The Consecrators is a Successor Chapter created from the gene-seed of the Dark Angels.

The founding of the Consecrators is unrecorded. The Consecrators was almost entirely absent from Imperial records. The chapter was first recorded in the works of the Administratum field notary Corwen Quilpin in the 3rd century of the 40th millennium. The chapter was recorded only decades later fighting alongside the Dark Angels.

The Consecrators are noted for bearing all manner of holy relics, and ancient patterns, of arms, armor and vehicles. They appear to have inherited the most revered arms of the Dark Angels Legion, preserving them carefully through the ages.

They bear a close resemblance to the Dark Angels before the Horus Heresy^[1], maintaining the legion's original black color and wearing the older Mark 6 "Corvus" power armor.^[2]

The chapter wears black power armor, with a red stripe down the center of the helmet.

Their chapter symbol is a variation of the Dark Angels symbol, a red winged flame topped by a red halo.
