The Damned Company of Lord Caustos is a warband of Chaos Space Marines of unknown Founding and origin. These Astartes turned to the Chaos Gods after being declared Excommunicate Traitorus by an Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus, based on some flimsy and circumstantial evidence. They only turned to Chaos to survive in a galaxy hostile to them. They now live their lives as mercenaries for hire to the highest bidder, and will take Imperial clients under certain circumstances. The Damned Company of Lord Caustos is counted amongst the Renegade Space Marine Chapters by the Imperium of Man.

Warband AppearanceEdit

Based on their identical colour schemes, the Damned Company of Lord Caustos may be related to the Night Stalkers, another Chaos Space Marine warband. This may simply be an oversight by Games Workshop. Please note, however, that issue 141 of White Dwarf in Germany featured the Night Stalkers with an entirely different set of colours. Therefore, Games Workshop was probably aware of the identical colour schemes and later moved to correct the error.

Notable Members of the Damned CompanyEdit

• Caustos - Caustos is the Chaos Lord who leads the Damned Company since he was forced to turn to Chaos to save his Astartes from the Inquisition. He is still loyal to the Emperor of Mankind in his own mind, but not to his corrupt Imperium.
