The Disciples of Caliban is a Successor Chapter of the Dark Angels legion, created late in the 37th Millennium.[1]
[edit] Chapter Origin
The creation of the Disciples of Caliban is unusual, in that Chapter Master Anaziel of the Dark Angels specifically requested it of the High lords of Terra. Such a request was, and is, unheard of, and much debate followed before Anaziel's request was granted.[1]
The gene-seed used was examined using standards even more strict than was the standard of Adeptus Terra. This gene-seed is constantly being monitored for corruption.[1]

It is rumored among the Unforgiven that this chapter was founded with the sole purpose of hunting down and capturing the Fallen Cypher.[1]

The Disciples of Caliban is a noble and virtuous chapter. They never turn from their duties to the Imperium.
The chapter is noted for carrying relics into battle. Most important of these relics is the Lionus Censum, a scroll which has the names and deeds of the chapters most famous brethren.[1]

The Disciples of Caliban is a very mobile force. Their chapter fleet has been seen in conflicts all over of the Imperium.

The Power Armor worn by the chapter is painted dark green and black. The shoulder pads are dark green with black trim. The backpack, chest eagle, abdomen, belt, codpiece, upper legs, feet and arms are black. The helmet, neck, chest, knees and lower legs are painted dark green. The tactical and company markings are white.
