Emperor's Scythes Chapter Colour Scheme

The Emperor's Scythes are a Loyalist, Codex Astartes-compliant Space Marines Chapter of unknown origin and Founding date. Almost nothing else is known about them in current Imperial records.

Chapter Colours

The Emperor's Scythes primarily wear purple coloured Power Armour. The Aquila or Imperialis on the chest plate is yellow in colour. The right shoulder pad bears a white-coloured squad specialty symbol: Tactical, Assault, Devastator, or Veteran. A white-coloured Roman numeral is painted on the inside edge of the shoulder pad, next to the squad specialty symbol, indicating squad number. The colour of both knee pads indicates company number in accordance with the Codex Astartes -- i.e. White (1^st Company), Yellow (2^nd Company), Red (3^rd Company), Green (4^th Company), etc.

Chapter Badge

The Emperor's Scythes' Chapter badge is a pair of white-coloured crossed scythes, with the blades elevated and pointing towards one another, centred on a field of purple. In the middle of the scythes is a white-coloured Imperial Aquila. The symbolism of both of these icons represents the Chapter's name.
