Description Edit

Based on the faction from the Warhammer 40k game series. - This is a combination of several requests to show the sci-fi working stiff, the regular infantry, the colonial marine. Not the heroes in shining armor or the super soldiers but the front lines, the grunts. - The Imperial Guard in both the video games and original table top game exemplify this kind of soldier and excel at two things; courage and numbers. Unlike the strictly regimented chapters of other factions, The Guard has a more personalized and paired down approach to battle, wearing light armor and survival gear, fighting to win rather then for glory. This might have something to do with deserters being dealt with brutally, but it also has to do with pride in profession. Battle is their job and they have no illusions about it, but they maintain their honor and their steadfast faith in the empire they defend. They Died Standing.
