A Hydraulic Claw is a common melee weapon deployed on the Kataphron Battle Servitors of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
The Hydraulic Claws of Kataphron Breachers are driven not only by powerful pistons, but also sanctified oils that are collected, drip by drip, from Titan god-machines at rest.
The tech-priests' belief is that in maintaining this process, they confer some of the Titan's strength to their servitors. One who has witnessed the ruin wrought by a Hydraulic Claw will be hard-pressed to refute it.
