Fortis Binary is a primary Forge World in the Sabbat worlds, Segmentum Pacificus, with a population of roughly of 19 billion in [M41.767], in that year a Chaos uprising overthrew the Tech-Priests and the Imperial Guard were sent to liberate the vital factories, too valuable to be flattened by orbital bombardment. After the liberation there were major food shortages and The Departmento Munitorum began to take corpses from the morgues and process the flesh for rations, resulting in a wide spread epidemic. Although, by the late stages of [M41.776] the world had grown strong enough to support three regiments in the Sabbat worlds campaign.
