Gorgons Chapter Colour Scheme
The Gorgons is a Loyalist Codex Astartes-compliant Chapter of Space Marines of unknown Founding and origin. Nothing else is currently known about them in Imperial records.

Chapter Colours
The Gorgons primarily wear lime green Power Armour with the exception of the helm which is black. The colour of the Aquila or Imperialis on the chest plate matches the rest of the battle plate's lime green colour, with the exception of the central icon, which is black. The white squad specialty symbol -- Tactical, Assault, Devastator or Veteran -- is located on the right shoulder plate. A black Roman numeral is centred on the squad specialty symbol, indicating squad number. The colour of the shoulder plate trim indicates company number in accordance to the Codex Astartes -- i.e. White (1st Company), Yellow (2nd Company), Red (3rd Company), etc.
Chapter Badge
The Gorgons' Chapter badge is a stylised ebon skull with snakes of the same colour for hair coming out of the top of it, reminiscent of the ancient Greek monster of legend -- the gorgon -- whose hideous appearance was so terrible, that those who gazed upon it, would turn to stone. The name gorgon derives from the ancient Greek word gorgós, which means "dreadful". This image is centred on a field of lime green.
