[edit] Overview

The Guardians of the Covenant is a successor chapter of the Dark Angels, of an unknown founding.^[1] Their lifestyle and doctrines are extremely monastic in nature. The battle brothers of the chapter devote as much time in intellectual study and scholarly arts, as they do in training for battle.

The Guardians of the Covenant's homeworld lies close to the Imperium's western rim. The Chapter brothers are very brave, and will never retreat in battle. On several occasions their numbers have been reduced to one or two companies.

The chapter uses graphic imagery that is distinctly gothic. The Guardians of the Covenant decorate their vehicles with graphics copied from illuminated manuscripts, such as the Codex Astartes and the Requiem Angelis.^[2]

[edit] Chapter Colors

Their power armor is silver with black Shoulder pad insets. The Guardians of the Covenant often wear deep crimson hooded robes over their armor.

The chapter's symbol is two white downward pointed crossed double edged swords.
