An infravisor is a visor worn separately or integrated into a helmet's sensor system that allows its user to access and see in a wide range of the electromagnetic spectra, particularly the infrared wavelengths. When equipped, its user can see better in low-light conditions than a normal Human could in optimal daylight. Infravisors were used by the military forces of the Mechanicum and the Space Marine Legions during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.
