A Lightning Field is a form of offensive Necron technology used by some Necron Lords and Cryptek Ethermancers to enhance their combat capabilities in battle. A Necron equipped with a Lightning Field is surrounded by bolts of crackling, incandescent, emerald lightning that arc from his body to nearby Necrons, energising and charging their living metal carapaces so that those who dare come near and strike them are electrocuted in return.
