This is a pictorial list of official Traitor Legions and Renegade Space Marine warbands (A-L) created by Games Workshop. It does not include any fan-created Renegade Chapters. This is not a complete list as not every Renegade Chapter in existence is known due to the Imperial policy of revising or altering history to protect truths considered dangerous to the continued stability of the Emperor's realm or the issuance by the High Lords of Terra of an Edict of Obliteration concerning a particular individual or subject. Such an edict often obfuscates or destroys historical accounts related to the actions of Chaos all together.

Whilst in the planning stages of a retaliatory strike against their hated Loyalist foes, a tendril of Hive Fleet Behemoth invaded the Sybari System and consumed the planet.

Emperor's Children Originally they were known as the proud III Legion of the Legiones Astartes. The Emperor's Children were the only Space Marine Legion to bear the Emperor's own name and His own icon -- the Palatine Aquila. They were noble in action and aspect, excelling in all matters, strong, civilised, firm of purpose and loyal to the core. From this height they descended in treachery to the lowest and vilest of creatures, becoming a Traitor Legion of Chaos Space Marines who devote themselves solely to the service of the Chaos God Slaanesh.

Flame Falcons The Flame Falcons was one of the cursed Space Marine Chapters created during the 21st Founding, the so-called 'Cursed' Founding. This Chapter was almost completely wiped out by the Inquisition before a hundred standard years had passed following its Founding. The cause of the Inquisition's attack was the fact that during an engagement, members of the Chapter spontaneously burst into flame, which they believed was a gift from the Emperor of Mankind. The members of the Inquisition did not share the Chapter's views, and when they returned to their home world of Lethe, they were attacked and almost completely destroyed by a force of Grey Knights.

Iron Warriors The Iron Warriors are one of the nine Traitor Legions that turned to the service of Chaos during the Horus Heresy and now fight to overthrow the Imperium of Man. The Iron Warriors, who were originally the IV Legion of the Legiones Astartes, specialised in the breaking of sieges and assaults on static fortifications, which made them great rivals of the Imperial Fists Legion, said to construct the greatest static defences in the Imperium. It was this rivalry between the Legions, and between their Primarchs Perturabo and the Imperial Fists' Rogal Dorn, that helped turn the Iron Warriors to Chaos.
