The Blood Bound is a short story published in the Gaunt's Ghosts series that was originally part of an anthology. The Blood Bound was published as part of the Sabbat Worlds anthology in November 2014, and has yet to be released as a stand-alone e-book. The Blood Bound is a part of the Gaunt's Ghosts spin-off series focusing on the Iron Snakes Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes.
Synopsis[]
A strike force of the Iron Snakes Chapter investigates the disappearance of an Archenemy general who had been taken prisoner and was being transported. When the force arrives at the last known location of the frigate transporting the general they find a ship graveyard circling a world that is no longer responding to any hails.
