The Outsider

The Outsider is one of the four known living C'tan. The Outsider is probably the most mysterious of the four and very little is known about it. It is probably currently imprisoned in a large Dyson Sphere-like structure somewhere under the galactic plane. It was imprisoned this way after the Eldar Laughing God tricked it into eating many of its fellow C'tan and it was driven insane - possibly because it has a conscience about what it did. Eldar legends describe Harlequins dancing around an orb of darkness which apparently contains (or is made of) the Outsider, and the implication is that one day the orb will shatter and the Outsider will be free.
