This is my new bio for the Interrogator I'm playing.
Name - Varigal Skult
Appearance - Varigal Skult is average in his appearance, at first glance. He's of an average height and is underweight for a man of his stature. His ash-grey hair is constantly unkempt and hangs low in his face. Although he works in a grim line of work, Varigal is a fairly happy individual facial expressions wise. He's constantly smiling and his eyes hold a gleam in them from behind his glasses that could only be found in a person who truly loves their work. When off the field of duty, or when going undercover, Varigal commonly wears a uniform similar to that of the Officio Medicae. This bone-white colored uniform gives off the impression that Varigal is some type of medical profession, which isn't exactly untrue. When revealing himself as a part of the Inquisition, or doing his bloody grim work, Varigal adorns a dark brown trenchcoat that has multiple places for Varigal to place his medical equipments. Alongside this trenchcoat Varigal wears a metal brace on his left arm that has a number of needles and syringes attacked to the finger tips, to better protect himself when he does his work. What completes this outfit for Varigal is the blood-stained fabric mask he dons. This mask has a built in gas-mask to protect him from airborne diseases he might encounter, and to better frighten the people he interrogates. The fabric mask is stylized after a legend from Varigal's homeworld, a daemonic creature that would trick people into touching it by disguising itself as a loved one before sewing their body into itself. The mask is tight-fitting, giving it a skeletal look, and where Varigal's mouth would be are several strands of fabric sewn together into the fashion of fangs.
Personality - Behind the kind-hearted theatrical boy is a vicious murder whose morals and ideologies are skewed. Feeling little for other individuals, Varigal has no problem torturing and performing disgusting acts of "research" on his victims once they are no longer required by his master. Dangerously manipulative, Varigal prefers to let others do his dirty work while he simply mutilates the corpses of anyone he can get his bloodied hands on. Varigal has a perverse way of acting when doing his bloody work, and delights in the fear he causes his victims. When confronted with his psychopathic behavior Varigal quickly becomes apologetic and attempts to sway confronter into pitying him. Alongside this psychopathic behavior is a disturbing desire to make everything theatrical. Constantly swaying to unheard music, singing songs of childhood memories, and moving with a pop in his step.
Skills - Naturally intelligence and shrewd to the point it's a fault, Varigal is a biochemist and doctor. Having memorized the majority of Abhuman biologies, Varigal is capable of both giving aid to any type of human medically or developing different types of poisons. Xenos-wise, Varigal isn't capable of giving the amount of medical treatment he can give to humans but he is intelligent enough to properly treat non-fatal injuries, and has enough information to design a chemical that could do harm. A keen manipulator, Varigal prefers to let others do any type of work that would put him in danger. Varigal is also intelligent in the study of the mind, and is capable of reading individuals on a level that many would find disturbing by just spending a few moments with them. Combat-wise Varigal is no better than the average human, but makes up for it with raw cunning and the use of poisons to weaken his foes.
Equipment - Aside his uniforms and the claw-like brace that Varigal wears when he does his bloody work, the "good doctor" has countless other devices and equipment that makes his bloody work ever the more gruesome. Saws, poisons, and needles are the kindest of his tools. Hidden in his trench coat Varigal has honed his use of these tools by experience alone. Carrying with him are synthesis devices that allow the creation of poisons and toxins on the go, along with small containers to hold the resources needed to make his drugs. Among his drugs and poisons are physical enhancers, a drug that provokes the fight or flight response to the extreme leading to cardiac arrest, an oderless gas that leads to paralysis, and countless others. Alongside these toxins are countless blades of various design. A folding saw-like device that can be used to chop up bodies, both alive and dead, is something Varigal carries with him incase the bloody doctor might ever be pressed into combat. As a former Guardsman, who has clearly survived many dangerous encounters, Varigal is a fair shot with the M36 Kantrael Lasgun which he keeps in a case that he brings alongside with his medical equipment.
History - Born on the world of Rivera, Varigal stalked the world as a vicious killer who evaded capture for some time. Eventually leaving the world by joining the Imperial Guard, Varigal would practice his craft on his dying comrades and any corpses he could gather. His cruelty and obsession with medicine came from his own childhood. His birth was complicated. His mother grew deathly ill and this illness passed onto the young Varigal. Unable to work with his siblings, Varigal cared for his mother. Only leaving her side to gather more medicine for her, or to cut up and disect any small animals he could find, all that Varigal knew was the smell of delayed death and cleaning products. Growing sick of his inability to leave the house without severe effects, as his weakened immune system lead to him getting sick easily, Varigal took his anger out on his mother. Constantly torturing the bedridden woman and than patching her up, eventually the stress of her dearest child butchering her and sewing her back to get killed the woman. And when a distant family member came in to check on the pair, a gruesome scene was all they found. Varigal's mother had been dismembered and all her organs had been moved into jars. Taking the young Varigal with them, who lied and proclaim that a man had come in and done this, the future Interregator got his chance to flee his horrid life. Pressed to serve the Officio Medicae, Varigal would practice his good craft on his patients in the day saving lives and curing diseases. But at night. The Evening Butcher would kill the very patients he sought to save during the day. Gutting them and spreading their limbs and organs across countless distances, the Evening Butcher was able to rampage across Rivera's largest hive for many years. When Varigal was close to being caught, he fled and moved off world by way of the Imperial Guard. The Evening Butcher was free to rampage across the galaxy, imposing his bloody work on the flesh of his comrades. And eventually his medical genius was spotted by an Inquisitor. And this bloody Inquisitor took in the bloody butcher, and discovered his skill in drawing information from his victims. And so this bloody pair has been together ever since.
