Warmaster

One of the highest military ranks in the Imperium. It was a title held by Horus when he was the Emperor's second in command. It is a title rarely taken by Imperial commanders because of this. Instead high ranking Imperial Commanders prefer titles such as Lord High Militant commander, but all of them mean the same thing.

Notable Imperial Warmasters are Slaydo, Macaroth, and Solar Macharius.
